The Historic Franklin Trolley Tour: 

Our 90 minute historic and scenic tour of Franklin, TN. Local guides will share history, stories, and explore Franklin’s past and present, while passengers sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

The Masters & Makers Trolley Tour: 

Williamson County has long been known for its beauty, history, and southern charm.  But did you know our heritage also includes small batch whiskey production, craft breweries, and our very own wine country?  Join Hello Trolley as we sip, taste, and tour our way through the Masters and Makers Trail of Williamson County.


The Masters & Makers Tour Highlights

  • Tour and taste from the 1st legal distillery in Williamson County  in over 100 years at H. Clark Distillery, which has now become Company Distilling since 2020. 

  • Visit the picturesque village of Historic Leiper’s Fork

  • Tour and taste small batch whiskeys at Leiper’s Fork Distillery

  • Tour and taste brews from Curio Brewing Co, started by two friends with a common love of coffee and beer



  • Your trolley ride will include tastes and tours at 3 different locations, lasting about 4 hours

  • A cooler with ice and bottled waters will be provided to enjoy on board 

  • As this is a “drinking” tour, riders are encouraged to bring snacks on board the trolley  

  • Additional purchases can be made at each location and stored in our on board cooler

  • Alcohol may not be brought on board, unless purchased during one of our tour stops

  • Tours of Arrington Vineyards and Nolensville’s Mill Creek Brewing Co. are for “private trolley tour charters” only at this time



Holiday Lights Tour

A Holiday Lights Tour has become a MUST when you’re in the Holiday Spirits, so get ready to sit back, relax, and listen to your favorite holiday music, while enjoying the beautiful lights of Franklin, TN and Williamson County!  Tours Run 1 hour and 30 minutes throughout Franklin & Brentwood. Tickets go on sale for our PUBLIC Holiday Lights Tours each year in October.  Private Holiday Lights Tours can be booked as far in advance of the Holidays as you wish!

Franklin Trolley Tours are offered on select days and times, and on most Saturdays.  A minimum amount of passengers are required for the tour to run.  If our minimum is not met for a particular time-slot, booked passengers will be contacted in advance and given the opportunity to rebook for a different time slot or refunded their ticket fee if necessary.  OUR TOURS DO NOT RUN EVERY WEEK, so please check our CALENDER to confirm if a tour is running on the day you are interested in!



The Historic Franklin Trolley Tours begin and end outside Franklin’s Visitors Center located on 4th Ave North, across from the Franklin Mercantile Deli, near the corner of Main Street.  Our Holiday Light Tours begin and end outside The Factory at Franklin.  Private tours have the option of pick up and drop off locations of their choice, once approved by Hello Trolley.

Reservations are required, as tours do fill up quickly.  Tickets can be purchased in advance through the BOOK NOW link, over the phone at 615-522-8007, or on the day of as space permits, in person from Hello Trolley's tour guide. Please call Hello Trolley directly for booking of private tours.


Does the trolley have heat and air?

  • YES!  However, the heat and air in the trolley does not feel as comfortable as in your own car.  


Do we get off the bus during the tour?

  • The Historic Franklin Trolley Tour will make 1 short stop, weather permitting.  Passengers are welcome to stay on the trolley during these stops or get out to stretch their legs and see the sites.

  • The Masters & Makers Tour will stop at 3 different locations. 

  • The Franklin Holiday Lights Tour will make 1 stop, if available and weather permitting.  Passengers are welcome to stay on the trolley during these stops or get out to stretch their legs and see the sites.


Can food & drinks be brought on board the trolley?

  • Personal sized snacks and drinks with lids may be brought on board.  Please no full sized meals, such as pizzas, as this can be overwhelming to other passengers on a full tour!


How long is a trolley tour?

  • The Historic Trolley Tour runs 90 minutes if stops are made.  Weather permitting, this tour may run 60 minutes.

  • The Holiday Lights Tours run 90 minutes

  • The Masters & Makers Tour lasts close to 4 hours, so plan accordingly!  Snacks & Beverages may be brought onboard this tour.  This will be a drinking tour, and waters will be provided.  We recommend eating a full lunch before you board for this Tour!

Is the trolley Handicapped Accessible?

  • One of our Trolley's is Handicapped accessible, but please let us know in advance of purchasing tickets to ensure availability.


Are the tours "kid friendly"?  

  • Yes, the trolley tours are kid friendly, but at 90 minutes, this can be long for small children.  We do not recommend children on the Masters & Makers Tour, but they are allowed if necessary.  We understand that sometimes parent's want to do something fun and taking the children along is the only option when vacationing as a family!


Are car seats allowed on board or strollers?

  • No carseats are allowed.  The Trolley also does not have seat-belts.

  • Please plan to leave large strollers in your car or store at the Visitors Center.  Smaller strollers may be brought on board only if there is space available, and must be in a folded position.
